Short answer: Innago is free for landlords with no paid tiers; tenants pay $2 per ACH and 2.99% on cards by default. RentRedi has no free plan—$29.95/mo month-to-month, $20/mo on a 6-month term, or $12/mo billed yearly ($144/yr)—with $1 tenant ACH and the same features on every term.
Best for:
- Best for paying $0 subscription: Innago, because it has no paid tiers at all.
- Best for a predictable flat price that doesn't rise with units: RentRedi, at $12/mo billed yearly for unlimited properties, tenants and teammates.
- Best for the lowest tenant ACH fee: RentRedi, at $1 per payment against Innago's $2.
- Best for faster typical ACH deposits: Innago, at 1–2 business days against RentRedi's typical 2–3.
- Best for built-in Schedule E summaries: RentRedi, which documents a Schedule E report in its help center; Innago's FAQ points to expense tracking plus QuickBooks and Ledgre instead.
This comparison is for self-managing U.S. landlords choosing between a free, fee-funded app and a flat subscription for listings, screening, leases, rent collection and maintenance.

Cost at 5 units for a year
Assume 5 tenants each pay rent by ACH 12 times (60 payments), nobody pays by card, and you do not absorb ACH fees.
| Setup | Landlord subscription | Tenant ACH fees (60 × fee) | Total cash out (landlord + tenants) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Innago | $0 | $120 ($2 × 60) | $120 |
| RentRedi monthly | $359.40 ($29.95 × 12) | $60 ($1 × 60) | $419.40 |
| RentRedi annual | $144 | $60 | $204 |
Innago is cheaper in total dollars at this size if tenants keep paying the ACH fee. RentRedi's annual plan costs you $144 and cuts each tenant's ACH fee in half versus Innago. If you absorb ACH for tenants, Innago becomes $120/year out of pocket and RentRedi annual becomes $204.
Rent collection and payout speed
Innago's FAQ says funds usually arrive in one to two business days, with a three-business-day hold the first time a tenant pays or uses a new funding source (and after a failed payment). It partners with Accelerent for optional instant withdrawals.
RentRedi's payments FAQ says deposits typically take 2–3 business days, with a weekday schedule (for example, Monday submissions expected Wednesday). First-time account verification can take longer.
Screening
Innago charges applicants $30–$35 for credit, criminal and eviction history, plus $10 for income verification. Fees are charged to the applicant by default. Its FAQ says reports typically return within minutes through a third-party provider (usually Experian).
RentRedi lists screening as tenant-paid $39.99 (credit, criminal, eviction) or $49.99 with Plaid-certified income verification. Credit reporting is a separate $5.99/mo, landlord- or tenant-paid.
Check your state's caps on applicant fees before you pass costs through. See best tenant screening services.
Listings, leases and ops
Both cover listings/applications, online rent collection, maintenance requests, messaging and mobile apps (iOS and Android).
- Innago syndicates vacancies to sites such as Realtor.com, Zumper and Apartment List (per its FAQ). Built-in e-sign and document templates are included. Expense tracking is built in; deeper books go through QuickBooks or Ledgre integrations. Tenants can opt in to rent reporting to Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
- RentRedi says every billing term includes the same feature set—rent collection, accounting, screening, listings, messaging, maintenance and support—with unlimited teammates. Its help center documents a built-in Schedule E report, P&L, AI receipt capture and an optional REI Hub add-on for full double-entry accounting. Several marketing claims (Zillow-network syndication, cash payments at retail locations) come from RentRedi's own pages; confirm partner coverage in a demo.
Who each one fits
Innago fits landlords who want every core tool at $0 subscription and are fine with tenant-side ACH ($2) and screening fees funding the product. The 1–2 day payout and lower screening sticker are the practical edges.
RentRedi fits landlords who prefer a flat, known subscription—especially the $144/year annual term—so unit growth doesn't raise the bill, and who want $1 ACH, 2–3 day deposits without an upgrade path, and documented Schedule E summaries in-app.
Two cases where neither is ideal:
- You manage other owners' properties and need trust accounting or owner portals—look at DoorLoop or Buildium instead.
- You only want banking + books, not leasing ops—see Baselane or Stessa.

How we checked
On November 5, 2026, we read Innago's FAQ (updated July 14, 2026) and Lister's Innago catalog record; RentRedi's pricing page; RentRedi's payments FAQ; and RentRedi's help articles on Schedule E reports and its accounting suite. Yearly and multi-payment totals are our arithmetic from published fees. We haven't used either product with our own rentals, and neither company paid for this comparison.
