Privacy Policy

Landlord Software Directory (“the Site,” “we,” “us”) is operated by JW Consulting & Transportation LLC. Contact: [email protected].

This policy describes what information we collect when you use landlordapps.com, how we use it, and your choices. The Site is a free-to-browse directory of software for small landlords. We do not require accounts to use the Site.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Email and message content if you contact us (for example about a listing, correction, disclosure, or paid placement).
  • Payment and billing details if you buy a Verified, Featured, or Sponsor placement. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to payment data they process.

Information collected automatically

  • Cloudflare Web Analytics. On the production Site we load Cloudflare’s privacy-oriented analytics beacon. It is designed to be cookieless and does not use client-side storage for tracking. It helps us understand aggregate traffic (for example page views).
  • Outbound click logs. When you use a “Visit” / /go/ link, our redirect may log that a click happened (for example which listing, which page you came from, device class, and country code from the CDN). We do not store your IP address in those logs. We may store an irreversible daily fingerprint derived from request data so we can count unique visitors for a day without keeping a usable IP; that fingerprint rotates daily and cannot be turned back into your IP address.
  • Server and CDN logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages and related Cloudflare services) may process standard request data needed to deliver the Site securely (for example IP address, user agent, and request URL) under their own terms.

Cookies and similar technologies

  • We do not set our own advertising or analytics cookies on the Site.
  • Third-party sites. If you follow an affiliate or vendor link off our Site, that company’s site may set its own cookies or trackers under its own privacy policy. We do not control those sites.

How we use information

  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site
  • Respond to messages and listing correction requests
  • Process and fulfill paid placements
  • Measure aggregate traffic and which outbound links are used
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use

We do not sell personal information. We do not use the Site to run interest-based advertising profiles about you.

When we share information

We share information only as needed with:

  • Service providers that help us run the Site (notably Cloudflare for hosting/CDN/analytics and Stripe for payments)
  • Affiliate or vendor partners only in the limited sense that a click through our link may notify them that a referral came from us (standard affiliate tracking on their side)
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
  • A buyer of the business, if we ever transfer the Site as part of a sale or reorganization

Children’s privacy

The Site is for adults who manage rental property. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Retention

We keep contact emails as long as needed to handle your request and for ordinary business records. Click and analytics data are kept only as long as useful for operating and improving the Site. Stripe retains payment records under its own policies and our business needs (for example taxes and disputes).

Your choices and rights

  • You can email us to ask what contact information we hold about you from messages you sent, and to request correction or deletion of that information where applicable.
  • You can stop using the Site at any time.
  • Depending on where you live (for example certain U.S. state privacy laws), you may have additional rights to know, delete, or opt out of certain processing. Email us to make a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising available rights.

International visitors

We operate from the United States. If you visit from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the U.S.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Effective date” above will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
