How we make money

Landlord Software Directory is free to use. We earn money in two ways, and we want you to know both.

Affiliate links. Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up for or buy a product, we may earn a commission. You don't pay anything extra. We currently have affiliate relationships with Hospitable. Any page that contains affiliate links says so at the top, before the first link.

Paid listings. Software companies can pay for placement in the directory:

• Verified ($49): the company paid us to confirm its listing details. Verified is not a review or an endorsement.
• Featured ($79/month): a paid placement. It is labeled "Featured" wherever it appears.
• Sponsor ($199/month): a paid placement. It is labeled "Sponsored" wherever it appears.

What payment does not buy. Payment doesn't change the facts we publish about a product: its prices, fees, features and downsides. It also doesn't change where a product appears in our editorial rankings or comparisons. We take prices and fees from each vendor's own pages and date them. We don't publish fake reviews, and we don't write as though we tested a product when we didn't.
