How we research and compare landlord software

Landlord Software Directory is run by JW Consulting Business LLC. We're a small independent team, not a software vendor.

What we check

For every price, fee and plan limit, we read the vendor's own public pricing or help pages and record the date we checked. That date is shown on every listing ("Last checked") and in every guide's byline ("Pricing checked"). When a vendor's pages disagree with each other, we say so. When we couldn't verify something, we say "not verified" rather than guess.

What we don't do

We haven't hands-on tested most products, and we say so in each guide. We don't publish star ratings or user reviews, because we don't collect them. We don't invent search data, prices or quotes.

How we use AI

Our research is AI-assisted: we use AI tools to help research and draft listings and guides. Every price is checked against the vendor's own pricing page, and the date of that check is shown on the page.

How we make money

Some vendors offer affiliate or referral programs, and we may join them. Affiliate links are disclosed on the page where they appear and marked "(paid link)". Vendors can also buy placement: paid placements are labeled Sponsored or Featured · Paid placement, and a paid Verified badge only means we confirmed the listing details. Payment never changes a ranking, a verdict or which facts we include. See Disclosures for the details.
