Short answer: BoldSign offers more free sending capacity: up to 25 envelopes monthly, versus Signaturely's one free document. BoldSign Growth costs $15 per user monthly; Signaturely Personal costs $25 monthly. Signaturely includes four storage integrations on Personal. Choose by sending volume, templates and collaborators, and bring a suitable lease rather than assuming either supplies state-specific legal forms.

- Signaturely Business: $50/user/month or $480/user/year; unlimited requests and templates, team management and custom branding.
BoldSign's FAQ/JSON-LD "$5 starting price" is its Growth yearly-billing rate, not month to month. The monthly and yearly cards show $15 and $5 for Growth.
How the pricing models differ
BoldSign Essential includes one sender. Growth and Business each price per sender and add users at the matching card's rate. Premium has unlimited users but a shared envelope cap. An envelope can contain multiple files, recipients, CCs and fields.
Signaturely Personal is shown at a flat $25/month. Business is explicitly per user. Personal includes five signature requests a month; Business is unlimited. An additional-user price for Personal was not published on the pricing page we checked. Keep sender seats separate from tenant/signer count.
Subscription-only scenarios, excluding tax and add-ons: one sender on BoldSign Growth is $15/month versus Signaturely Personal at $25/month; two senders on Growth are $30/month versus Signaturely Business at $100/month (2 × $50). Those two-sender plans are different feature bundles: Growth shares 100 envelopes a month across two users, while Business advertises unlimited requests. Unit count does not set signature volume; renewals and other documents matter too.
Free plan and trial limits
BoldSign Essential includes 25 envelopes a month, two templates and no additional users; personal-email signups get five envelopes a month until business details are verified. Custom branding is included. Its paid trial is 30 days with no card required. A business-email Growth or Business trial lists 50 eSignature documents and 10 users; a public-email signup receives a smaller allowance.
Signaturely's FAQ states unlimited documents during the trial, then one free document a month. Trial duration and card requirements were not published on the pricing page we checked. Free-plan template and branding limits were not stated there either. Business explicitly includes custom branding.
A single residential lease can fit a free document or envelope allowance if you prepare it carefully. We did not verify page or file-size guarantees, so do not assume every lease package fits a free send.
Seats, users and tenant experience
BoldSign says recipients do not need to pay or register, and it supports mobile-browser signing. Senders need licensed accounts; Essential has one.
Signaturely sends signers an email link and supports signing on any device. Whether a recipient must create an account was not explicitly established on the pages we checked. Do not treat tenant signers as sending seats.
Templates and upload-your-own lease
BoldSign lets you upload a lease, add parties and signing order, place fields and send. It advertises reusable lease, listing and disclosure templates, plus bulk renewal sends from a CSV. Plan limits still apply: Growth has 10 templates; Business and Premium have unlimited. Bulk send starts on Business and Premium at $0.25 per envelope. Do not apply marketing language about unlimited agents or envelopes to every plan.
Signaturely lets you upload a file or use a template, add required fields and email signers. Reusable templates can be shared with a team. Signature, initials, dates, textboxes, checkboxes and automatic reminders are described on its product page. Personal includes one template; Business includes unlimited.
Neither a state-by-state lease library nor attorney review was verified for either vendor. Bring your own suitable lease, and verify any template for your state. For free and state-linked lease starting points, see our free lease agreement template guide.
Integrations
BoldSign automatic backups to Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox, plus HubSpot, start on Business and Premium. Xero is a $5 per organization per month add-on on Growth and above. Salesforce is a Business add-on at $10/user/month, or $21/organization/month on Premium. Zapier, Power Automate, webhooks and a production API are listed under Enterprise API, not ordinary web plans. Enterprise API starts at $30/month including 40 envelopes, then $0.75 per envelope. Do not treat a free sandbox as production API access.
Signaturely Personal and Business list Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive and Box. Its API is separately priced on a linked page. API rates, Zapier entitlement and property-management or accounting integrations were not confirmed in this pass.
Extras and fees
BoldSign Business and Premium list optional add-ons: bulk send and bulk links at $0.25 per envelope, SMS delivery at $0.20 per SMS, SMS authentication at $0.20 per SMS, WhatsApp at $0.10 per message, ID verification at $2, knowledge-based authentication at $1.50 per attempt and qualified electronic signature at $3 per signing attempt. Premium envelope overage is $0.50. These are optional; most small landlords will not need all of them.
Signaturely's pricing page does not publish SMS, ID-verification or request-overage charges. That absence is not the same as "no additional fees."
Which should you pick?
- You want the most free sends: BoldSign Essential (25 envelopes a month, or five until a personal-email account is verified).
- You want the cheapest paid one-sender plan: BoldSign Growth at $15/user/month (month-to-month) ($5/user/month billed yearly).
- You send few documents and want Drive/Dropbox/OneDrive/Box on the entry paid plan: Signaturely Personal at $25/month ($240/year).
- You need unlimited requests plus team management: compare Signaturely Business ($50/user/month) with BoldSign Business ($25/user/month).
- Your landlord suite already covers leases and e-sign: check that included service before buying either standalone tool. See also best lease e-signature software for landlords.
Choose by send volume, templates and collaborators—not by how many doors you own, and not by affiliate payout.

FAQ
Is BoldSign cheaper than Signaturely?
Entry paid month-to-month pricing is BoldSign Growth at $15 per user versus Signaturely Personal at $25. Feature limits differ: Growth pools 50 envelopes per user per month with 10 templates, while Personal allows five requests a month and one template. Billed yearly, Growth is $5 per user per month and Personal is $240 per year.
Does BoldSign have a free plan?
Yes. Essential includes up to 25 envelopes a month, two templates and one sender. Personal-email signups get five envelopes a month until business details are verified.
Does Signaturely have a free plan?
After the trial, Signaturely's pricing FAQ allows one free document a month. Trial length and whether a card is required were not published on the pricing page we checked.
Can I e-sign a lease with BoldSign or Signaturely?
BoldSign explicitly describes uploaded lease workflows, reusable lease templates and bulk renewals. Signaturely describes upload-and-sign documents generally, so using your own lease is an application of that workflow, not a verified state-law guarantee. Bring a suitable lease and verify it for your state.
Do I need a seat for each tenant who signs?
No. BoldSign says recipients do not need to pay or register. Signaturely sends signers an email link for signing on any device. Sending seats are for people who send documents, not for tenant signers.
Should I skip both tools?
If your existing landlord software already covers your lease and e-sign needs, you may not need a separate subscription. Check that product's included e-sign limits before paying for BoldSign or Signaturely.
