Hospitable and Guesty both connect your Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com listings to one calendar and one inbox, and both automate guest messages. The differences come down to price structure and size. Hospitable publishes every plan price, starting with a free plan. Guesty publishes only its small-host plan, Lite, and quotes everything from 4 listings up.
Short answer: For 1–3 listings, Guesty Lite is the cheapest paid option at from $9 per listing a month, while Hospitable Essentials is free with higher transaction fees. From 4 listings up, Hospitable is the only one with published prices: Professional is $59 a month plus $15 per extra active property. Guesty Pro is quote-only.
Best for:
- Best for a free start: Hospitable Essentials, because it's free for unlimited properties, not a trial.
- Best for the lowest paid price at 1–3 listings: Guesty Lite, because it starts at $9 per listing a month.
- Best for 4–10 listings with a published price: Hospitable Professional, because Guesty Pro requires a quote.
- Best for owner statements without a sales call: Hospitable Mogul, because it lists owner statements and payouts at $99 a month.
We haven't used either platform with our own rentals. This comparison is based on each company's public pricing, feature and help pages.

Hospitable's prices are monthly; annual billing saves 12%. Guesty's page shows Lite as "$9 per listing per month" and doesn't publish a separate annual rate.
How the pricing models differ
Hospitable charges per plan, with included properties. Each plan has a base fee that covers a set number of properties. Extra properties are billed only in months when they're "active," meaning they have a check-in or Dynamic Pricing turned on. A property that's active only because of Dynamic Pricing is billed at $10. Seasonal listings that sit empty cost nothing extra in those months, but the base fee is always charged.
Guesty charges per listing on Lite and by quote above that. Lite is "perfect for 1–3 listings," per Guesty, at from $9 per listing a month. The word "from" matters: the page doesn't list what pushes the price above $9. At 4 listings you move to Pro, which Guesty prices "by your number of listings" through a quote. Guesty says Lite and Pro run on the same platform, so moving up doesn't need a migration.
What it costs at 1 to 10 listings
Monthly subscription, assuming every Hospitable property is active each month. Guesty Lite is shown at its "from" price.
| Listings | Hospitable Essentials | Hospitable Host | Hospitable Professional | Hospitable Mogul | Guesty |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | $0 | $29 | $59 | $99 | Lite from $9 |
| 2 | $0 | $39 | $59 | $99 | Lite from $18 |
| 3 | $0 | Not available | $74 | $99 | Lite from $27 |
| 4 | $0 | Not available | $89 | $129 | Pro, quote |
| 5 | $0 | Not available | $104 | $159 | Pro, quote |
| 10 | $0 | Not available | $179 | $309 | Pro, quote |
How to read it:
- At 1–3 listings, Guesty Lite costs less than any paid Hospitable plan at its starting price. Hospitable Essentials costs $0 but charges more per transaction and adds $15 per property for Dynamic Pricing.
- At 4+ listings, only Hospitable gives you a number to budget with. Ask Guesty for a written Pro quote before you compare.
- Annual billing cuts Hospitable by 12%: Host for one property works out to about $25.52 a month.
Transaction fees
Subscriptions are only part of the cost. Hospitable publishes its per-transaction fees:
| Fee | Hospitable Essentials | Hospitable paid plans | Guesty |
|---|---|---|---|
| Custom upsell processing | 10% | 7% | Not published |
| Cleaner payouts | 2.5% per clean | 1.5%, capped at $5 | Not published |
| Security deposits | 2% | 2% | Not published |
| Guest verification | $5 full / $2 ID check | $5 full / $2 ID check | GuestVerify listed, price not published |
| Direct bookings | Not available | 1% Basic; 4% + 3% processing Premium (Professional, Mogul) | No percentage fee; payment processor fees apply |
Guesty's statement that it charges no percentage-based fee on direct reservations is a real difference if direct bookings are a big share of your revenue. Hospitable's Premium direct booking costs more, but it makes Hospitable the merchant of record and adds $5M damage protection and US lodging-tax remittance, per its own material.

Which should you pick?
- You have one listing and want to spend nothing: Hospitable Essentials. Accept the higher upsell and cleaner-payout fees, and turn on Dynamic Pricing only if it pays for its $15.
- You have 1–3 listings and want the lowest paid price: Guesty Lite, from $9 per listing. Confirm the exact price for your listings during the trial, since the page says "from."
- You have 1–2 listings and want dynamic pricing included: Hospitable Host at $29 or $39 a month.
- You have 4–10 listings: Hospitable Professional has a published price ($89 at 4, $179 at 10). Get a Guesty Pro quote and compare it line by line.
- You manage for owners: Hospitable Mogul ($99 for 3 properties, +$30 each) lists owner statements and payouts. Guesty's owners portal is on Pro, by quote.

How we checked
On October 28, 2026, we read Hospitable's pricing help article (updated September 16, 2026) and its llms.txt file, which give plan prices, included properties, the active-property rule, annual billing and fees; its pricing page shows "--" in place of prices to our fetcher. Full detail is in our Hospitable pricing guide. On October 29, 2026, we re-read Guesty's pricing page, including its plan cards, feature table and FAQ, which matched what we recorded on October 28. Where Guesty doesn't publish a price or fee, the tables say so rather than estimate.
Disclosure: Hospitable pays us a commission if you sign up through our link. That doesn't change the prices, fees or picks above, and we don't rank by payout. Guesty doesn't pay us.
